Mandarin Radio was started in 2002 to introduce the English speaking world to the best in Chinese music. Over a billion people speak Mandarin worldwide. Native speakers alone are 14.1% of the world's population (compared to 5.52% for English). Consequently, there is a huge Chinese-language music industry covering all musical styles. Mandarin Radio is dedicated to making it easy to hear some of the best music in the world.
